Enrollment Information

Our weekly program accepts children who have turn 3, 4, or 5 years of age as of September 1 of the year of enrollment.  Special circumstances can be discussed with the preschool directors as they have discretion over the enrollment process.

For the health of our students and staff, Macalester Plymouth Preschool requires all students to be have their childhood vaccines unless provided with a notarized medical exemption (we do not enroll those with conscientious objections).

Macalester Plymouth Preschool is licensed by the state of Minnesota to have a maximum of 52 children on the site at one time.

Program Schedules & Tuition

We offer 2-day and 3-day programs, as well as a daily Lunch Bunch option. We try our best to work with the schedules of our families, so if you have different scheduling needs, please inquire (4- and 5-day programs can be arranged at the discretion of the lead teacher in both rooms).

2-Day Program

9:00 – 11:30 am
Tuesday and Thursday
$265.00 per month

3-Day Program

9:00 – 11:30 am, Monday, Wednesday and Friday
$345 per month

Scholarship Information

Macalester Plymouth Preschool welcomes students from a variety of family backgrounds. Thanks to generous donors, we are able to offer scholarship support to families who might not otherwise be able to attend.

To apply for scholarship support, please send an email to us detailing your request. Past scholarship support has been awarded to children of single parents, twins and triplets, families facing ongoing health challenges or burdensome ongoing expenses (such as supporting an elderly relative or a special needs child), and for unexpected changes in employment. Scholarships range from 50–100% of tuition.

We will begin considering scholarship requests in March for the following school year. You can expect a response to your inquiry within two weeks.
